A Bit About Me
Hi, my name is Fiona and I am one of the founders of S.W.I.M. Ltd.!
Sports has always been a massive passion of mine. From a young age, I took part in a range of activities including cross-country running, basket ball, tennis, Gaelic football, and of course, swimming!

My swimming journey began when I was 3-months-old with my family at the Valley Leisure Centre for our weekly Sunday dip. When I was old enough, I joined swimming lessons at the Arena Health and Fitness Club in North Belfast. Then at age 7, I joined Alliance Swimming Club, where I progressed through the "Learn to Swim" program, before joining the competitive club. At age 13 I moved to Lisburn Swimming Club, where I started to take my swimming more seriously. For the next 10+ years, I was training for over 20 hours a week and competing at a regional and national level!

In July 2020 I graduated with a 2:1 Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Ulster University. I then went on to a Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Nutrition, and graduated with a Commendation, as a qualified Sports Nutritionist, which I now practice on a casual basis.

I am a Level 2 Qualified Swimming Teacher with an NPLQ, and over 10 years experience in the industry. During my extensive amount of teaching experience, I have successfully worked with swimmers who have SEN's or extreme fear of water. I am confident that I have the knowledge to help anyone gain water confidence and get swimming!

Orla, my sister, and I have been running S.W.I.M. Ltd for over 3 years now, and along with our amazing team of trained, qualified and experienced teachers, we have had the pleasure of teaching over 2000 clients the essential life skill of swimming!

I look forward to seeing you at the pool!
